People will  surprise you with certain questions that if you decide to respond in the way your spirit leads, village people must call meetings to resolve the issue.

I met this woman some days back, childhood neighbor  and after the expected pleasantries, she decided it was time to ask questions that only members of amebo associations would ask, especially women. 

Why will you think it’s ok to start advising a lady on how to run her home, when to bear children, the expected job for a married lady and how if she doesn’t follow your advise, small small girls would snatch her man. Why?

First things first, if someone doesn’t come up to you with her stories, avoid every spirit of personal adviser. You don’t even know if she has other issues that are not related to what you are spilling. Ok, imagine telling a lady who is battling fibroid that her stomach is big and need to start working out😳. Then  imagine advising a lady who is trying to conceive that she should stop wasting time with family planning and pointing around people with kids. 

The crazy thing about these advisers is they feel they know and understand life, so they have the perfect answers for world problems 🤦‍♀️ and if you dare to give them hot hot, they will call it pride.

The other day, when a member of the association wanted to know my life plans as relate to my family and handsome husband, I opened my mouth to tell her but my voice failed me. Daammnnn!!! so simple, I plan to resign , then begin the duty of seducing my husband every morning before he goes to work, and night when he gets back, get pregnant every year and then spread my legs wide during the day to watch Nollywood/Netflix and of course get fat😜.

Let people be please.

    The main issue is most of them think they are helping, it's just them projecting their fears unto others

    You see these advisers they are they worst! They plant seeds of self doubt in your heart.

    The best thing is totally avoid them. Oh and block them on all platforms too. 🙄

 It has really been a while in this space, despite having so many things to share, but as you know or may not know, I like money and have been busy thinking about it. 😂 Tonight is one of those moments I travel down memory lane and get so emotional. They are so many moments and I’ll keep sharing as the spirit leads because I hope someone gets encouraged. This night, I sent a job opening to my not so little brother and he replied with an image of him in his medical robe (a new job), and as usual, anytime I see him in one, I close my eyes for few seconds.  I just stepped out of the restroom, gisting, smiling while trying to fix my jean trouser and the next thing I heard was ‘why is your tummy like that’? I would have simply laughed it off or pretended not to have heard but something tugged at my heart. I felt pained. Maybe because I expected better from a fellow mother or a woman, but then, women’s problems are women themselves. I was about to explain when I was cut by another statement of how she has two kids and her tummy not as wrinkled as mine.😌 While trying to come up with excuses and justifications about my wrinkled stomach, I realized it wasn’t worth the stress of overthinking it.
